In This Wicked And Perverse Generation Where Young And Old Alike Live For The Day... Idolizing The Entertainers in (Music) and (HarlotWood) As Well As The Wide World Of Pagan Sports! They are pursuaded to think act and even fashion themselves after these godless ad adulteress heathens and reprobates! because what? they are popular? what they do looks like fun? and they are rich...? Friend God would rather have you clean than rich! take this for example the apostle Pauls says in the new testament to the Corinthian church For the things that the gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to demons and not to God! meaning they worship in vain and falsely... giving their hearts to evil desires and not Holy Things that obtain to righteousness and purity, take a look at the unclean things that the world has glorified like tattoos... almost everyone from music to professional sports has some kind of perverse marking in their flesh... because it's cool? yea because it's idolatry! JESUS told the pharisees ye worship the devil... because you do as the devil does! (you live in sin and rebellion and reject God.

REMEMBRANZAS DE FIN DE AÑO
DICIEMBRE
DIA 31

Not Just a Neighborhood

As the clock winds down upon another year, it is amazing how our self-preservation system really kicks in. What do I mean? Even though we might not like or agree with the things we face individually or collectively as a society, we subconsciously leave them in the past on New Year's Eve and welcome a new and refreshing time with the "Baby New Year". The demarcation line between 2008/2009 will be drawn. We believe that change will be a good thing.
Thinking back over the years, I remember going to Woolworth's or S. H. Kress Stores with my brother Richard. He loved to decorate for every holiday and New Years wouldn't be complete without loud noise makers and confetti. When he got older, he would wisely save some of his fireworks from the 4th of July to set off for New Years.

I'm absolutely lost. Oh Lord, I need you now more than ever. I feel myself falling & you are the only one I can lean on to catch me. I know that I have to stay strong for my son & I am trying very hard but it seems like the world is against me sometimes. I just don't know what to do anymore. I pray & pray but still everything seems to just get worse. Everyone close to me is turning against me & I don't know what I am doing wrong or how to fix it. Well, my darlin son is awake so I must go. Lord, I pray to you for help. Please, help us.

Commit your actions to the Lord, & your plans will succeed. ~Proverbs 16:3

The Amplified Version says, Roll your works upon the Lord [commit & trust them wholly to Him & He will CAUSE your thoughts to become AGREEABLE to His will &] so shall your plans be ESTABLISHED & SUCCEED.

So you see, there are different ways to fail to commit whatever we do to the Lord. Some people commit their work only superficially [which means, not penetrating the substance of a thing; not DEEP or profound; not going to the heart of things; & NOT genuine] -- While they say the project is being done for the Lord, but in reality they are doing it for themselves.

Unfailing love & faithfulness make atonement for sin.
And by FEARING the Lord, people avoid evil. ~Proverbs 16:6
Then from Exodus 18:20 it says, When the people heard the thunder & the loud blast of ram's horn, & when they saw the flashes of lightning & smoke billowing from the mountain, they stood @ a distance trembling with fear. And they said to Moses, "You speak to us, & we will listen. But don't let God speak directly to us or we will die!"

When I look back in this year of 2008, I have so much to be thankful for... Things haven't always been easy for me, and life will always have it's up's and downs. But, no matter where we are in life, the Lord is ALWAYS with us... Even when I was at my worst, Jesus was always there waiting for me to say " Here I am " I know that feeling or waiting...I have waited many years for the chance to be with my children again, not even knowing if it would happen, but next week I will have them with me along with my beautiful grandchildren. That is a feeling of rejoicing and I know that that was the feeling God had when I finally came back to Him......

Yes, Please Pray for this Nation

I am asking that we pray for the nation. Not because the wrong man was elected though, because I believe he was the right man for the choice. I want us to pray that now that this election is over and our new President is elected that we can again reunite as one. No more insults, no more negativity. That we can all get together and be a UNITED Nation. Under God.

To be honest I am relieved that this election is over. Not simply because the candidate I supported won but because I am ready for the hurtful comments and the unrashional rudeness to end. I mean, being an Obama supporter in Texas is not the easiest thing really. I have been told that I am a socialist, that I am a bad christian, that I am an ignorant idiot, that I am a baby-killer, that I support terrorist Islamic Arab. I am done with it. I am ready for everyone else to be done with the judgemental hurtful comments.

EL AMOR CRUCIFICADO
NOVIEMBRE

DIA 05

evitar aquel suplicio;
mas acepta el sacrificio
con estoica valentía.
Quien a la cruz le sujeta,
no son los clavos punzantes.
Es su Amor, Su Amor triunfante,
quien logra que allí esté quieta
Su incomparable figura.
Aquel cuerpo inmaculado,
que carga con el pecado
de las humanas criaturas.
No existe razón más fuerte.
Es ese Amor escondido
en la cruz, que reverente,
hasta el más indiferente
la contempla conmovido.
Viendo en ella, la Bondad.
El Amor crucificado
El Cordero Inmaculado
que salva a la humanidad.
Ante esa cruz soy culpable,
pues yo debía ocuparla.
¿Puede haber, quien al mirarla
no se sienta responsable?

Election 2008 (I wrote this a few days ago, but wanted to share it)

Apparently the biggest election of our lives is right around the corner. Sadly, they said that in 2000 and 2004 if you remember. Yes, I know our economy is sucking and there is more slandering propaganda than commercials, and there is war in the Middle East, but we don't have to worry.

I was sitting in a church service this past weekend in Southwest Ranches, FL. The pastor brought up a GREAT point, no matter who wins the election it is God-ordained. McCain isn't too old, and Obama isn't the Anti-Christ (Read Revelations people). We grow up thinking that America is the best thing that could happen to the world, we are the great supreme free nation that is blessed with a democracy, we were founded on Faith and we even say God Bless America. But do we really mean it? We are about to go into a major facelift of what we know as America with the end of Bush's term.

Presidential Election

Well, history has truly been made in the United States of America. I was 18 months old when Dr. Martin Luther King made his "I Have A Dream" speech, and died tragically. I never thought in my lifetime, much less my children's and grandchild's lifetime that we would ever elect a Black president. This shows that we as a people can finally say that we belong to this country, and that the "American Dream" really does exist. After hearing President-Elect Obama's speech, I feel that with the help of God, he will bring unity to our country that has been divided for too long. We finally can get more than our "40 acres and a mule" that our forefathers were given, and we can tell our children that even they can become president.

EL TIEMPO VUELA

NOVIEMBRE
DIA 06

f we all thought like Ben

This Was sent to me from a friend of mine (Alex Thank you!). And I thought I would share it with all of you. It puts everything into prospective, at least from my point of view!

The following was written by Ben Stein and recited by him on CBS Sunday Morning Commentary.

Herewith a few confessions from my beating heart: I have no freaking clue who Nick and Jessica are. I see them on the cover of People and Us constantly when I am buying my dog biscuits and kitty litter. I often ask the checkers at the grocery stores. They never know who Nick and Jessica are either. Who are they? Will it change my life if I know who they are and why they have broken up? Why are they so important?
I don't know who Lindsay Lohan is either, and I do not care at
all about Tom Cruise's wife.
Am I going to be called before a Senate committee and asked if
I am a subversive? Maybe, but I just have no clue who Nick and Jessica
are.
If this is what it means to be no longer young. It's not so bad.
Next confession:

BARACK OBAMA: The chicken crossed the road because it was time for a

recognized the need to engage in cooperation and dialogue with all the
chickens on the other side of the road...

Hello everyone

I have just started a new job in Real Estate. The only problem is I don’t make anything until a sell is complete so I would be grateful if all of my Christian brothers and sisters would pray for me. I am a single mother and my income is the only one. I am really stepping out of the boat and trusting Jesus for everything. Thank you and God Blessing to you all.

Equipped for Faith

Equipped for Faith
James 1:5-11
Two crucial elements are important if faith is going to be able to stand the trials that will most certainly beset our lives. They have to do with where wisdom comes from and whom we can trust. Those elements are a right attitude toward God and a right attitude about ourselves.

In verses 5-11 of the first chapter of James, wisdom is the first thing we need if we are to weather what the world throws at us. Additionally, we are not equipped with the ability to handle the kinds of situations in which we will find ourselves. God is the only source of that kind of wisdom. In order for us to have solid faith, we need to have a right attitude toward Him, because as James tells us, we have to ASK God for that wisdom. Also, the caveat he gives us is that we must ask in faith...with no doubting.

Greetings friends and fellow servants of the Lord!

The election results are already in. Obama has won the presidential election
by a landslide (of electoral votes). It looks like the Democrats will have a
choke hold on congress. I expect most of us did not vote for Barak Obama, and
may be taken aback by the turn of events. Some of us may be asking how this
happened. A better question to ask at this point is what should we do about it?

1) Remember that God is in control
He is not surprised by the outcome of the election. In fact, God has a purpose

I feel certain that many in my stream of the Church want a statement from me concerning Tuesday's presidential election. I will be frank in my remarks but I do not, however, intend to vent anger or attack anyone. I have read several statements from friends and colleagues I respect very much.

Their thoughts are well stated and, for the most part, insightful. None of them, however, seem to want to say some things that I believe need to be said. I do not claim infallibility or to have the final word, but my convictions run deep and I believe I bear a God-given responsibility to share them.

Homeless Isn't Just An Earthly Event

Last year at this time I was in eastern Africa, thinking about being back in the States as people were getting ready for holiday shopping, Thanksgiving dinner, and then Christmas. I wondered what it was going to be like in the rural areas I was living, in a place that so far hadn't gotten excited even over the local holidays.

Photobucket It was strange to find that even the national holidays were nothing of importance. I laughed at how many times the banks were closed because of "National Day". It seems that every person had a special holiday if they had been in office, but in a democracy of only 40-years or so that wasn't so hard to understand. But it was the special holidays of growing up that I took for granted to be internationally celebrated. So the anticipation started growing.
