Hello Father, please concecrate my heart and mind. Keep me on the highway of holiness. If I have sinned through words, deeds, thoughts, or actions.... By ommission or commission, please forgive me OH LORD so that this prayer to you may go through the proper chanels to be both heard & answered. These things i ask in the name of the Father the Son and the blessed Holighost, AMEN!!!
Lord give me more of you and less of the flesh. I stand weak to the ways of the world. Sympathy I have for all, though sadly none for myself. Dear GOD in heaven, I have not shed a tear at a funeral since the passing of my nephews in 1993. I kind of grew numb to the whole death thing, teaching myself at a young age that death becomes us all and that there was no need for goodbyes or reasons to cry.I'd been to other funerals since then, though crying hasn't eveer been a factor nor played a part in any given situation of a loved ones passing for me. Until today when I recieved a call from my mother informing me of the passing of my favorite Aunt.

I Love my Daddy

A couple of weeks ago our group spent the night at the house of a girl from another Master's and I slept in her sister's room by myself. On her sister's wall was a poem in a fram called Broken dreams.

Broken Dreams

As Children bring their broken toys, with tears for us to mend
I brought my broken dreams to God, because he was my friend.
But then instead of leaving Him in peace to work alone,
I hung around and tried to help with mays that were my own.
At last I snatched them back and cried "How could you be so slow?"
""My child," He said "What could I do? You never did let go."

It stuck a chord with me about my back. I have really bad back pains and they don't get better it seems. It truely has been the hardest thing to God. Not thinking that he couldn't fix it. The wondering if he will.
