"Free From Pollution"

Physical punishment cleanses away evil; such discipline purifies the heart. ~Proverbs 20:30
The New Century Version says, Hard punishment will get rid of evil, & whippings can change an evil heart.

For the word to purify means -

* To make pure or clear
* To free from unnecessary elements;
* To free from pollution...;
* And to cleanse from whatever renders one unclean & unfit for sacred services.

For in Psalm 51:2 we see David's plea for mercy, forgiveness, & cleansing -- He says in verse 2, Wash me clean from my guilt. Purify me from my sin.
