Imagine hearing God sing. Does it sound like the mighty roar of Thunder (Joel 3:16) or like a soft and gentle whisper (1 kings 19:12)? It is powerful and strong, yet unimaginably beautiful, pure and sweet. And he is singing that glorious song over you! Why doe God sing over you? Because he delights in you. You make his heart sing with Joy.
Do you believe this? If not, why not? There are obstacles, you say- your sin and guilt, your constant wandering from God, the enemy's accusations that you are unworthy, and your fear of rejection. God's love for you is deep and strong, it will never be shaken (Is 54:10) You are Secure in his knowing that he delights in you can give you freedom to delight in him and in all that he has for you.
