As I am writing this article, 2008 is quickly coming to a close, and that realization has made me aware that I have spent much of this year writing to issues and events that we are all presently walking out together. I, also realize that some of the things to which I have been writing have caused some of you to draw back and rethink your own positions, while others of you have simply written them off as another one of my rantings. Whether you have pondered and considered them, or you have embraced them from a distance, is not my responsibility. However, it is my hope that you have taken something that I have said away from what I have written, and that it will help you arrive at a workable solution in this hour.
